H2H #2 Tymor Park

The Sky's opened up again in the Mid Atlantic region for another weekend of wet racing. That's OK with the team, if it were dry all the time that would be boring right? This weekend of racing brought us to Tymor Park in Lagrangeville, NY. If anybody has ever ridden there when it is dry knows that it is pretty root and rock laden... but when wet it makes it even more fun.

The Pro men field was 15 deep...well let me start over. It was almost 14 deep because Jordon thought the race was at 2:00pm but the actual start time was 12:30. Its OK we wont let you forget, but luckily a slight delay in the start and Jordon NASCAR driving skills got him there on time to race and with a car full of fresh Shimano XTR build kits for our bike. Thank Shimano!!

Anyways the race went off with out a hitch. Right off the bat a group of three Mike Mooradian, Dave Weaver and I (Seamus) got a sizable gap in the first technical section of the race track. From there the three of us were all together until the first long climb of the 6.5 mile 3 lap race were I put an effort in and Dave dropped back and left Mike and I to battle it out for the win. It was one of those days were i don't think anybody really felt good (at least anybody i talked to after the race) so it was hard to tell how Mike was feeling. So i figured instead of trying to drop him and possible go to far over the edge and risk being caught or breaking the bike, keeping a steady pace and was the best option. That's what we did until the last piece of single track were mike let me go through first for the win. I know your all thinking that's lame but he is leading the series and he's just that nice. Thanks mike!! J-Dog finished  in the money with a solid 9th place. A victory in its self to make it to the race, register, get dressed and jump on the start line with no warm up is pretty good in anybody's book if you ask me. Jordon's a fighter and most people would have given up. Nice job dude.

The guys at H2H Races series put on a great event and if anybody is looking for a great all around competitive series in the Mid Atlantic region should check them out. Thanks for a good time H2H. And a BIG Thanks to Shimano for some sweet shifting technology to keep us in the lead.
