Phew, that was a hot one for us down there in Macungie, PA this past sunday. The weekend brought sunshine and and the whole team together at the Bear Creek Resort for a hot and humid MASS Finals. This race venue is quickly becoming one of my personal favorites to race on and i think the rest of the team can say the same about it being one of there favorite venues as well. Bear Creek offers Lots of Parking, Ample Bike washes, a beautiful Ski resort with condos and not to mention a wicked awesome race track!!! Super technical and plenty of passing opportunities makes it ideal for a challenging and fun place to race. As as you all know and for the people that don't know, Bear Creek Resort is the Host for the USA MTB National championships for 2013-14. So spread the word and hope to see you all out there next summer!
The team performed great. Forest our Junior Development rider took up the challenge to race the Pro category starting on the first row like any confident young racer should had a solid race finishing 28th, Matt shredded the down hill passing "15 guys on the down hill" smiling as usual brought it in for an 18th place finish, Jordan battled it out for a top 10 finish taking 6th place, and I (Seamus) took the win.
Its a rare occasion to have all the team members in one place at a time, and having everyone together at a race non the less makes it pretty special. Good times had by all!! Go Team!!
