What do you think?

Our new team picture is just in!  We are not your ordinary team, so we didn't want an ordinary picture.  It is edgy and unique to other professional team photos.  And we love it!
Huge shout-out to our designer Yi Ming!

A little taste of rubber

Here at GMA we got in our first shipment of Geax tires.  Some of what we will be racing this year are the Gato, Saguaro, Barro Mountain, Barro Race, and the all new AKA (we are still waiting on those to come).

We also have STICKERS! so swing on by our tent to pick up your very own Geax sticker pack at the next race!

soon

I am really psyched about the season.

Our gear is starting to get itself together and we just got in a ton of new Geax tires.  I am really looking forward to trying out the new AKA.  Bikes should be here any day, and I am looking forward to having a fresh new Anthem to ride the dirt on.  Every time I throw my leg over my Anthem I feel more and more like it has become a part of myself as I take the nasty lines and push other riders on the DH enough to break their frames.

The season will start soon enough, as I head down to Gainesville, FL for my first race and mini training camp the second week of March.  After that it is a week and a half until I shove out to Cali for the first race of the Pro XCT.

Hopefully everyone has been getting out on the trails and wearing in the good lines.  A good worn in snow track can be some of the best conditions to ride in.

We've been busy training.

Where we be!

After much deliberation and hand-standing, we put together a preliminary race schedule for the 2010 race season.  As our name suggests, we'll be focused on the races in the Mid-Atlantic region, but will definitely be doing some traveling as well.  The schedule is posted on our website, www.giantmidatlantic.com, and will be revised there as the season progresses.  Come on out to the races and hang with us!

Buttery Smooth!

Continuing with our weekly sponsorship announcements, the Giant Mid-Atlantic crew will be the recipients of buttery smooth shifting and powerful controlled braking courtesy of SHIMANO!  Shimano components are the industry standard, and we're stoked to have them on board for 2010!  It's gonna be a good year.......
